VinylPermanent vinyl will hold up very well, but it is not dishwasher or microwave safe. Handwashing will ensure that it lives for many, many uses. It comes in every single color, and allows for a clean and colorful design.

PaintA hand painted glass/ceramic is dried and then baked onto the object, so it becomes permanent. It is dishwasher safe and can put up with daily use.
(While I haven't found anything about it being microwave safe, I've put my mugs in the microwave many, many times and I'm still living! Plus it doesn't do anything to the paint). |
